The brief
The ruling or article a lawyer needs for a brief is spread across court publications, the official gazette and practice encyclopedias, and finding it takes hours. An answer without its source is no use in a brief or an appeal.
What we built
We built Sanad as one archive and the tools around it: full-text search of judgments from the Court of Cassation, the Supreme Constitutional Court, the State Council courts and the economic courts, filtered by court and year; every law with its articles and the judgments that referred to each one; a legal assistant that answers from these texts and puts each source beside the answer; lawyer tools from a document drafter to deadline and inheritance calculators; and a workspace for research and briefs that exports to Word with footnotes.

- 346,991 laws and decrees, each article with the judgments that cite it
- Legal assistant that answers in Arabic and cites its sources
- Document drafter for contracts and pleadings, exported to Word
- Deadline, inheritance, detention and claim-value calculators
